Help Southeast provide the latest technology for students.
As technology changes rapidly, so do the needs of our campuses and classrooms. The Equipment and Technology Fund allows Southeast to purchase needed equipment and technology for the contemporary classroom. From providing our nursing and allied health students with the most up-to-date equipment to connecting our classrooms through videoconferencing networks, the College must stay ahead of the technology curve. Your investment will enable the College to expand and improve science laboratories, classrooms, libraries, and other learning spaces for faculty and students to use.
Examples of gifts at work include:
- Creation of a makerspace – a collaborative workspace for creating prototypes using high-tech tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and soldering irons. Makerspaces provide hands-on learning, improve critical thinking, and allow students to gain electronics, coding, robotics, and entrepreneurship skills.
- Respiratory Therapy program equipment, such as the MetaNeb lung expansion machine to ensure students have access to the latest technology in their fields of study.
- Computerized Manufacturing and Machining program equipment, such as a HAAS CNC Lathe, which will enable students to be trained on the most up-to-date equipment, increasing their career opportunities.
